
Wolves conduct media day

The Chicago Wolves will hold their 12th annual media day at the Hoffman Estates Park District Community Center and Ice Arena on Tue., Sept. 27, following the conclusion of practice at 11:30 a.m.
Head Coach John Anderson, who has led the franchise to three championships in eight years, will be on hand for interviews directly following practice. In addition, the Wolves have six players returning from last year's squad, including defenseman Travis Roche, who was named to the American Hockey League's First All-Star Team.
The reigning Western Conference Champion Wolves will play their first of three local preseason games at the Hoffman Estates Ice Arena against the Peoria Rivermen on Mon., Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. The team will also host the Grand Rapids Griffins at West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows on Thu., Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., and the Milwaukee Admirals at the Hoffman Estates Ice Arena on Sun., Oct. 2, at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the host rinks for $6.
The Wolves begin their quest for a fourth championship against the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights at the Omaha Civic Center on Fri., Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. Chicago launches its 40-game home slate against the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Oct. 15, at 7 p.m.
