
Norfolk announces training camp invitees, inks three to contracts

NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced 16 players who have been invited to their 2005 training camp. Among them are three players the Admirals have signed to AHL standard player contracts: Nathan Barrett, Cody Blanshan and Martin St. Pierre. All 16 players will report to Norfolk Scope on Monday, September 26th.
The Admirals will await player reassignments from their NHL parent club Chicago Blackhawks to fill their remaining roster.
Among the invitees are four defensemen, 11 forwards and one goaltender.
Goaltender: Scott Reid
Defensemen: Cody Blanshan, Mario Joly, Matt Laatsch, Steve Munn
Forwards: Nathan Barrett, Blue Bennefield, Steve Crampton, Les Haggett, Jim Henkel, Dusty Jamieson, Rory McMahon, Tyler Mosienko, Derek Parker, Martin St. Pierre, John Snowden
Training camp will be open to the public and free to attend at Scope. A training camp schedule will be announced at a later time.
