[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] – The Cape Fear FireAntz of the South East Hockey League (SEHL) announced today that defenseman Dwight Wolfe has been placed on injured reserve. Wolfe suffered a broken toe in the season opener against Winston-Salem on Friday night.

Wolfe suffered the injury during the second period while on a penalty kill. Wolfe was in front of the FireAntz net, when a shot came from the point and hit him in his left foot. Later, it was revealed that Wolfe suffered a broken toe in his left foot. He will be in a cast for 6-8 weeks.

Muswagon, a 6', 175 pound forward from Cross Lake, Manitoba, played last season with the Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League. In Port Huron, Muswagon had 13 points and 32 penalty minutes in 52 games played.

"Jamie is a second year pro that adds to our skill package up front." Head Coach Scott Rex added, "His experience in the United Hockey League will benefit all of our forwards. The guys that played with him last year rate him very high. I consider this a big, big addition to our lineup."

The FireAntz play host to the Huntsville Channel Cats on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1. Both games start at 7:35 pm. Great seats are still available.
