Worcester, MA- Chad Johnson earned his 2nd straight shutout with 35 saves and Ilkka Heikkinen scored the game winning goal as the Wolf Pack beat the Sharks 4-0 at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday night in front of 5,107.

Looking to avenge an early season loss to the Wolf Pack, the Sharks came out flying in the first period but were unable to put one past goaltender Chad Johnson. Final shots were 14-8 in favor of Worcester after the first twenty minutes.

The Wolf Pack notched the first goal of the game 49 seconds into the second period when Ilkka Heikkinen fired a snap shot over the glove of Sharks goaltender Alex Stalock. The Sharks were unable to capitalize on three power plays in the period, but outshot the Wolf Pack 13-10 in the second.

At the 3:16 mark of the third period, Brodie Dupont added to the Wolf Pack lead banging home a rebound off a Jordan Owens shot. The Wolf Pack went up 3-0 when Ryan Garlock tipped in a Corey Potter shot from the point. The lead was extended to 4-0 when Bobby Sanguinetti ripped a slap shot in from the top of the circles at 17:15.

With the loss, the Sharks fall to 8-7-0-1 (17 points) on the season.
