
Wolf Pack sign Baranka to ATO

HARTFORD, April 18, 2005: The Hartford Wolf Pack have signed defenseman IVAN BARANKA to an Amateur Try Out (ATO) agreement effective today. The 6' 2", 185 pound native of Dubnica, Slovakia was the New York Rangers second round draft pick (50th overall) in 2003. He played with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL this past season, amassing 23 points (7-16) in 64 games. Baranka is expected to play against Lowell in the Atlantic Division semi-finals starting on Thursday.
