Wolf Pack Release Forward Roman Horak From ATO

HARTFORD, April 8, 2010: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have released forward Roman Horak from his Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.

Horak, who joined the Pack April 2 from the Chilliwack Bruins of the Western Hockey League, did not appear in any games for the Wolf Pack. In 66 WHL contests with the Bruins this season, Horak, a fifth-round selection (127th overall) by the parent New York Rangers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, scored 21 goals and added 26 assists for 47 points in 66 games, along with 39 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack's next action is tomorrow night, Friday, April 9, when they travel to Worcester to take on the Sharks in a 7:05 PM game (WTIC HD-2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com ). The Pack play their last regular-season home game this Saturday night, April 10, facing off against the Springfield Falcons on "Fan Appreciation Night" at 7:00.
