
Moose Sign Ryan McGinnis To PTO

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have signed defenceman Ryan McGinnis to a professional tryout contract.
McGinnis, 24, appeared in five games with the Moose this season after signing his first PTO with the club on Mar. 26/10. In that span, he collected one assist and two penalty minutes.
McGinnis returns to the Moose from the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL where he has played 49 games this season. In his time with the Wings, the Flint, MI native recorded 33 points (5g & 28a) along with 67 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 17 games earlier this year with the AHL's Norfolk Admirals, where he collected three assists and 14 penalty minutes. In 49 career games in the AHL the last two seasons with Albany, Norfolk, and Manitoba, McGinnis has nine assists and 34 penalty minutes.
McGinnis was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the sixth round, 184th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
