Bring Your Dog To The Marlies Game On Saturday

A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies will hold their inaugural, Dog Day, on Saturday, April 10 when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, at 4:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.

Fans who want to bring their dog to the game can purchase tickets for $18 and will be charged $5 for their canine friend. Part of the proceeds will go to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Volunteers from the OSPCA and Super Scoopers will also be on-hand to assist with any doggie needs. Jersey Boys cast member, Matt Cassidy, will perform the Canadian anthem prior to puck drop.

On Sunday, the Marlies will host the Abbotsford Heat, AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, in their annual Fan Appreciation Game Presented by Ricoh. Marlies fans will have a chance to win hundreds of prizes, including a Ricoh digital camera, Sony Playstation-Go and Movado watch. The team will also present their annual Fans Choice Award.

The Marlies travel to Rochester to play the Americans, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, their final road game of the season on Friday night at Blue Cross Arena. Toronto will play their final two games of the season on Saturday and Sunday at Ricoh Coliseum, with both games starting at 4:00 p.m. Both games will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
