
Wizards Make it Four Straight

BISMARCK N.D., March 18, 2007 "" The Dakota Wizards won their fourth straight game tonight in front of over 3,200 fans with a total team effort. The now 24-14 Wizards had no standout player in tonight's win, instead six players scored in double figures and won 110 "" 99 over the Tulsa 66ers.
Leading by as many as 14 points, Wizards center Kevin Lyde and forwards Quemont Greer and Darius Rice all finished with 17 points each. Lyde led the way with his forth double double in five games pulling down 11 boards and two blocks.
"Our guys really played together tonight", said head coach Dave Joerger. "Our front court was our strength again tonight and Chris was the spark we needed off the bench".
Guard Chris McCray led the Wizards in scoring as he finished with 18 points and five assists. Center Rod Benson drained 15 points to go with his 11 rebounds.
Tulsa now 17-23 on the year shot 50 % from the field as a team and was led in scoring by forward Denham Brown who had a game high 19 points. Guard Will Conroy added to his double double total with 12 points and 14 assists.
The Wizards travel to Austin for a match up with the Toros on Wednesday March 21st, while the 66ers head to South Dakota to face the Skyforce on Friday March 23rd.
