
76ers sign Louis Amundson to second 10-day contract

Philadelphia, Pa. - March 18, 2007 - Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that the Sixers have signed forward Louis Amundson to a second 10-day contract.
The 15th Gatorade Call-Up from the NBA Development League, Amundson has made one appearance with the Sixers this season, logging three minutes at Atlanta on March 13.
Earlier this season, the 6-foot-8 forward became the ninth Gatorade Call-Up from the D-League when he signed a 10-day contract on Feb. 5 and a second 10-day contract on Feb. 19 with the Utah Jazz. Amundson appeared in one game with the Jazz, logging two minutes.
In a stint with the Colorado 14ers (D-League), the UNLV product averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.48 blocks in 25.0 minutes in 25 games, while shooting 56.3 percent (117-208 FG). This season 12 different D-League players have been called-up a total of 15 times.
