Wizards Back To A Full Roster

BISMARCK, N.D., April 8, 2008 - The Dakota Wizards' of the NBA Development League announced today that they have added forward Andre Patterson to their roster for the race to the playoffs. The 6-7 Patterson is no stranger to the D-League as he played for the LA D-Fenders last season before going overseas.

Patterson graduated from Tennessee, before playing at UCLA for two years. While at Tennessee Patterson averaged 8.4 ppg and finished his collegiate career with the Volunteers ranked 14th all time in blocked shots with 66 total rejections in just two years.

In his first year in the NBA Development League with the D-Fenders Patterson averaged 10.5 ppg in 50 games. Patterson also averaged an impressive 1.6 blocks while pulling down 7.2 rebounds a game.

Patterson replaces forward David Palmer who was released due to a shoulder injury. Patterson will wear jersey number 32 this weekend when the Wizards wrap up the regular season on the road in Fort Wayne along with the postseason should the Wizards qualify. Newly acquired guard Michael Peoples will wear jersey number 33 for the final two games of the regular season.
