Mad Ants Celebrate their One Year Anniversary

April 10th will be a very special day for all fans of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. It is the day that the Ants joined the NBA Development League and began their quest to bring the very best in family entertainment to Fort Wayne residents. The organization's first anniversary comes at an exciting time as the Mad Ants have put together an action packed weekend to conclude their inaugural season with two home games Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the Memorial Coliseum.
The fun starts on Friday night when the Mad Ants are celebrating the groovy 70's during their game versus the Dakota Wizards, brought to you by Retroactive. Join coaches Jaren Jackson and Doug Noll and the rest of the Mad Ants' staff in their finest disco attire as you cheer on the team. Break out the bell bottoms and platform shoes and enter the Best Dressed Contest for a chance to win a Mad Ants prize pack. At half-time of this hip night, you will have the opportunity to see the jaw dropping act "Design Duo." Design Duo features two Polish acrobats performing an exciting strength and hand-balancing act.
The Mad Ants entered the season with a bang by packing the coliseum and setting a then D-League record for opening night attendance with nearly 7,500 fans, and Ants hope to end the season in the same manner. Saturday night will be a full out celebration, including a silent auction of the Pistons jerseys worn on affiliate night, the Jessie White Tumbling Team as the half-time act, post game celebration and autograph session with the team, and plenty of Mad Ants give-a-ways.
