LAS VEGAS - The Wisconsin Herd outscored the Memphis Hustle 35-16 in the final quarter to wrap up its 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase with a 125-113 victory. The Herd head home leading the Eastern Conference standings at 14-3 while Memphis remains strong in the West also at 14-3.
Four Wisconsin players had 20-plus scoring performances in the matchup. Shannon Bogues (25 points) shot 10-of-12 from the field to lead the Herd. D.J. Hogg (24 points) and Cameron Reynolds (23 points) each had eight rebounds while Jaylen Adams (21 points) came close to a triple-double night with nine rebounds and eight assists.
John Konchar netted a game-high 33 points for the Hustle. The guard made a career-high 14 field goals, going 73.7 percent from the field for his first 30-plus point game of the season.
The Herd will enjoy a few days off before returning home to wrap up the season series with the Lakeland Magic in back-to-back contests next weekend. This season, Wisconsin is 1-0 against the Magic after defeating Lakeland 115-93 on Nov. 20.
