Concluding their 45th season in Portland, the Winterhawks played host to the Tri-City Americans in their scheduled finale Tuesday.

The home side got out to a 2-0 lead in the first 25 minutes of the night, beginning with a storybook start for the club's two departing 20-year-olds, who got the scoring started in their final WHL game.
