
Winterhawks Recall Jockims as Affiliate Player

The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club today recalled forward Braeden Jockims from the Nipawin Hawks (SJHL) to the team's active roster as an affiliate player.
Jockims, 18, appeared in 10 regular-season WHL games earlier this season, tallying one assist. After joining Nipawin in November, Jockims recorded 25 points (15G, 10A) in 28 games - ranking second on the team with an average of 0.89 points per game. The Saskatoon, Sask. native originally signed with Portland in January 2023 after producing 22 points in 27 games with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA program. Jockims has scored one goal and two assists in 33 career games with the Winterhawks.
