Winterhawks Announce Second-Round Playoff Schedule

Portland, Ore. - Fresh off a first-round victory over the Everett Silvertips, your Portland Winterhawks are headed to Round 2 of the 2023 WHL Playoffs! The Hawks are set to battle the B.C. Division Champion Kamloops Blazers, with Game 1 set for Friday, April 14 in British Columbia. Portland will host Games 3 & 4 of the series, as well as a potential Game 6 if necessary.
The Winterhawks went 3-1-0-0 against the Blazers during the regular season across four tightly contested matchups.
The Blazers hold a 43-37 advantage in all-time playoff matchups against Portland, but the Winterhawks were victorious in their most recent postseason meeting with a 4-1 series victory in the 2013 Western Conference Final en route to winning the Ed Chynoweth Cup that season.
