Winter Hawks Also to Play in Pre-Season Tournament in Everett

Everett, WA - In addition to the pre-season hockey tournament in Tri-Cities, Washington September 9-11, the Portland Winter Hawks will also play in the second annual Labor Day weekend pre-season tournament at the Everett Events Center in Everett, Washington. The Hawks will join the Everett Silvertips, Spokane Chiefs, Vancouver Giants, Seattle Thunderbirds and Kamloops Blazers in the six-team tournament from Friday September 2 through Sunday September 4. The Hawks will play three games. On Friday, September 2, Portland will play Seattle at 11:30 a.m.; on Saturday, September 3, Portland plays Kamloops at 11:30 a.m.; and on Sunday September 4, the Hawks play Everett at 7:00 p.m.

As of now, fans are only being allowed to purchase 9-game tournament packages for $50 by calling the Everett Silvertips office directly at (425) 252-5100. The 9-game tournament package is available for purchase now and can be charged to your credit card by phone.

Single game tickets will be available at a later time. Here is the complete schedule of games:
