KAMLOOPS, BC - CEO Gerry Bell announces today that at this morning's board meeting the Kamloops Blazers' Board of Directors has decided that beer will not be sold for consumption in the stands in the 2005-06 season.

The Board of Directors has received numerous letters and phone calls primarily against in-stand beer consumption, while some season ticket holders did indicate a preference in favour.

The Board has committed to a meeting with season ticket holders later in the summer at which time the subject will be part of the discussion.
