Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE (5-4-1-0) look for its third consecutive victory when it hosts the Saskatoon Blades (7-5-0-1) at Wayne Fleming Arena on Sunday.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. CT.

The Winnipeg ICE are coming off of a 4-1 victory over the Saskatoon Blades on October 19. The ICE received two goals from Carson Lambos while Chase Hartje and Connor McClennon added the others. ICE goaltender Jesse Makaj blocked 14-of-15 shots. The Blades got their lone goal from Riley McKay. Both Blades goaltenders saw action in the game. The ICE outshot the Blades 24-15. The ICE went 2-for-6 on the power play, 3-for-4 on the penalty kill and won 27-of-53 face-offs.

Tonight's game marks the end of a four-game road trip for the Blades. The Blades next home game will be against the ICE on Friday, October 25. The Blades are 1-2-0-0 on the road trip so far, defeating Calgary 9-3 on October 14, losing to Medicine Hat 3-1 on October 15 and dropping a 4-1 decision to the ICE on October 19.
The Blades are coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg ICE on October 19. Riley McKay scored the lone goal of the game for the Blades. Both Blades goaltenders received playing time in the loss. The Blades were outshot 24-15. They went 1-for-4 on the power play, 4-for-6 on the penalty kill and won 26-of-53 face-offs.

The Winnipeg ICE and Saskatoon Blades face each other six times during the 2019-2020 regular season. Tonight's game will be the third meeting of the season between these two clubs. The ICE and Blades will also face each other on Friday, October 25 in Saskatoon.
