Winnipeg Ice News Release
Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE and your locally owned Domino's Winnipeg locations are pleased to announce that the Annual Food Drive Game in support of Harvest Manitoba will take place on Saturday March 12th at 7:00PM when the ICE host the Brandon Wheat Kings for the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffrey Lawyers at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena, located on the University of Manitoba campus.
Winnipeg ICE fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Representatives from Harvest Manitoba will be set-up with large bins for donations at the arena entrance. At the end of the first period, Harvest Manitoba will take all the donated items back to its headquarters to be stored and weighed.
The Top 10 Most Needed Items can be found HERE.
Domino's representatives will be at the game entering those donating to Harvest Manitoba into a draw to win PIZZA FOR A YEAR! The draw will take place during the 2nd intermission.
Fans can use the promo code ICE50 for 50% off regular priced pizzas on game day courtesy of your locally owned Domino's Winnipeg locations.

In addition, the ICE are excited to be involved with and support Harvest Manitoba's Meals2Go Program. The program provides students with two take-home meals for the weekend to mitigate the little to no access to food on weekends. Each meal kit contains "affirmation notes" which are little notes that contain positive messages, jokes or drawings that affirm self-worth and encourage self-value. These are meant to brighten the kid's day and nourish them mentally. Fans will be encouraged to create affirmation notes at the game that will be included in the meal kits.
Donations for Harvest Manitoba will also be accepted at select Winnipeg Freeze and Winnipeg Blues games in February:
Friday February 18th at 8:00pm when the Winnipeg Freeze host the Portage Terriers at the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex
Saturday February 26th at 7:30pm when the Winnipeg Blues host the Steinbach Pistons at the RINK Training Centre
Purchase your tickets for the Food Drive Game on March 12th at 7:00pm.
