
Winnipeg Blue Bombers hold legacy dinner

WINNIPEG, MB - As part of the team's on-going 75th anniversary celebrations, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Legacy Dinner will take place Oct. 6 at Canad Inns Polo Park.
This year's dinner will be highlighted by the announcement of the Top 20 Winnipeg Blue Bombers of all time. Fans will have a chance to vote for their favourite Bomber as part of a contest sponsored by the Winnipeg Free Press. Several Bomber greats, both past and present, will be in attendance at the dinner.
The weekend's celebrations will culminate Oct. 10 when the Bombers take on the B.C. Lions at 3 p.m. at Canad Inns Stadium. Several special pre-game events are planned to mark the club's 75th anniversary. Tickets for the dinner and the Oct. 10 game are available at all Ticketmaster locations and by calling 780-3333.
