
Wings Use Power Play to Melt Blizzard

Jake Sibell made 22 saves and Mack Byers had two goals and an assist to lead the Wings to a 4-1 home win over the Blizzard. It was St. Cloud who enjoyed the early lead thanks to a 1st period goal from Luke Aquearo. The Wings responded back in the 2nd period with a pair of power play goals from Cooper Haar and Byers. In the 3rd period, the Wings put the game on ice, which included a power play goal from Jakub Breault and an empty-net tally from Byers. Blizzard goalie Tyler Bost made 38 saves in the loss.
The two teams will meet once again tonight at the Odde Ice Center. Tonights Corporate Game Sponsor is Hub City Harley Davidson! It's College Night! All College students with valid ID will receive $2 off admission at the door!
