Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen scored three times in just under two and a half minutes and then held on for a 4-3 win on Friday over the Minot Minotauros. Nates Vertes scored the opening goal while Cooper Haar scored twice in a span of 20 seconds. Jay Buchholz and Dan Russell got the Minotauros within one after 40 minutes of play but an Antonio DiPaolo goal early in the third turned out to be the eventual game winner. Sam Skinner scored late for Minot but it was too little, too late. Jake Sibell won his 12th game of the season by making 22 saves. Ben Garrity was dealt the loss despite making 37 stops.
The two teams will meet again tonight at the Odde Ice Center. Tonight is Singles Night! Buy a $15 Hub City Harley Davidson Bar Stool Seat at the door and receive a FREE drink ticket! Bring your skates and Skate With The Wings after the game! Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15! $10 GA tickets are on sale now at any of the C-Express locations in Aberdeen!
