
Wings Drop Game 3-1 to Wilderness

Friday night the Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League took on the Minnesota Wilderness in a non-division game at the Odde Ice Center. The Wings fell short 3-1.
The Wilderness got on the board first with a goal at the 4:18 mark from Aaron Miller. They would extend their lead to 2-0 in the 2nd period with a goal from Brett Heikkila. The Aberdeen Wings would finally get on the board at the 4:23 mark with a goal from #21 Bjorn Sigurdarson (F-Reykjavik, Iceland) with assists from #24 Ronnie Hein (F-Chelsea, MI) and #29 Matt Sherman (D-White Lake, MI). Wilderness' Aaron Miller would add another goal making it 3-1 and a home loss for the Wings. The Wilderness outshot the Wings 22-17.
