San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club will host its Wine and Dine with the Earthquakes wine tasting and fundraising event on Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill.
Tickets to the event are available to all Earthquakes fans starting today at www.sjearthquakes.com/wine. Tickets for this exclusive event are $100 per person or a table of eight for $800. You can also purchase one of five VIP tables for eight guests for $1,200 and have Chris Wondolowski, Steven Lenhart, Jon Busch, Alan Gordon or Frank Yallop as the guest at your table. Guests must be 21 years of age or older in order to attend. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted.
Guests will enjoy tasting a selection of Guglielmo's red and white wines while socializing with Earthquakes players, coaches and front office staff at the Villa Emile Event Center. After indulging in four samplings, one glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres, guests will be treated to a delicious dinner produced by Earthquake VIP caterer, Cosmopolitan Catering. Every guest will be seated at a table under an expansive white tent with an Earthquakes player or coach seated in their group.
The evening will feature Earthquakes players serving as celebrity bartenders, both a silent and live auction as well as a one-of-a-kind grape stomp. All proceeds will benefit the club's non-profit organization: the San Jose Earthquakes Community Fund. A certified 501(c)3 charity, the San Jose Earthquakes Community Fund facilitates and supports programs that produce positive change for children and families in our community with an emphasis on health and fitness.
Since the season kicked off in March, the Quakes have made more than 65 player appearances in the Bay Area, brought more than 5,000 underserved youth to our games through the Kicks For Kids program and donated more than 500 tickets to local schools and non-profits for fundraisers.
