Windsor Spitfires to Auction Artwork by Taylor Hall at Sunday's Spitfire Home Game

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that the team will be conducting an auction for artwork made by Windsor Spitfires superstar Taylor Hall and Toronto artist Rob MacDougall entitled "Making of the Leaves" this Sunday at Game three of the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series between the Windsor Spitfires and the Kitchener Rangers at the WFCU Centre. The "Making of the Leaves" artwork features a picture of Taylor Hall, which he has personally autographed, as well as a Maple Leaf wearing a Spitfires jersey and hockey equipment. Taylor Hall and Rob McDougall both participated in the creation of the project.

The Spitfires will be conducting an auction outside of Sections 111 and 112 within the WFCU Centre before the start and also during the first and second intermissions of Sunday's game. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the picture will be distributed to the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation. Bidding for the artwork will start at $500. Doors for the game open at 6:05 pm, with game time set for 7:05 pm, fans are encouraged to donate to this most worthwhile cause.

Rob MacDougall, a freelance sports artist from Toronto, ON has worked with current NHL superstars Mike Richards and Corey Perry on the "Making of the Leaves" project to raise funds in support of the fight against cancer.
