
Wilson Promoted to Mississippi

Lynchburg Hillcats News Release
Lynchburg, VA- Hillcats reliever and former Liberty Flame Andrew Wilson was promoted to Double-A Mississippi today. He will join the team in Mobile, where they are facing the BayBears.
Wilson was on the opening day roster for the Hillcats. He led the Hillcats bullpen with 34 appearances this season. Wilson was 2-3 with five saves and a 2.68 ERA. Between June 24 and July 29, he gave up just one earned run over 12 innings in 10 appearances. In his final appearance for the Hillcats, on August 8, he pitched three shutout innings while striking out a career-high five batters.
The Hillcats roster currently sits at 24 active players.
