Oshawa Generals News Release
Oshawa, ON - Oshawa Generals General Manager and Vice-President, Roger Hunt announced Monday that the team has traded the rights to over age Defenceman Will Petschenig to the Saginaw Spirit. The Generals will receive draft picks in return for the 1995 born defenceman.
Will has spent his entire Ontario Hockey League career with the Oshawa Generals. Generals GM Roger Hunt said, "It's always difficult when you have to trade a player who has been with you from day one of his OHL career. He's going to an organization that has a good young team and his leadership is extremely important to them."
