
Wilderness Win In-State Battle

The Wilderness scored the final three goals of the game as they handed the Magicians their seventh straight loss in a 5-2 win on Wednesday. Michael Covach and Ivan Chukarov gave the Wilderness a 2-0 lead in the 1st period. The Magicians answered in the 2nd period to tie the game at 2-2 as Nathan Krusko and Kane Durment lit the lamp, but it was all Wilderness after that point. Billy Exell scored the go-ahead and game-winning goal late in the 2nd period and Darian Romanko added two 3rd period goals. Ryan Anderson made 23 saves in the win.
