
Wilderness Use Overtime to Beat Magicians

Tyler Cline completed his hat-trick with a goal 1:44 into overtime as the Wilderness beat the Magicians 5-4 in the lone game of the weekend for the Magicians. The teams traded goals in the 1st period with Cline and Billy Exell scoring for the Wilderness and Lukas Laub and Sam Becker scoring for the Magicians. After a goal early in the 2nd period from Wilderness forward Darian Romanko made it 3-2, the Magicians responded with two straight goals to take a 4-3 lead on another strike from Laub and a goal from Nolan Schaeffer. Cline then scored his second goal early in the 3rd period, tying the game at 4-4 and setting up the game-winner in OT.
