
Wildcats Topple Titan on Sunday Afternoon

The Wildcats came out flying with a 4-goal first period, en route to a 6-2 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan Sunday at the Avenir Centre in front of 3,600 fans.
Defenseman Étienne Morin earned First Star honors with a 2-goal performance. Single tallies went to Miles Müller (5th), Natan Grenier (1st), Sebastian Glas (2nd) and Alex Mercier (3rd). Captain Yoan Loshing contributed three assists in the win while Caleb Desnoyers and Thomas Auger chipped in with two helpers each.
Jacob Steinman posted his 5th win with a solid 27 save effort. The win lifts Moncton's record to 6-3-1 after 10 games and a first-place tie with Halifax atop the Maritime Division.
This week, the Cats visit the Sea Dogs Saturday night at 7 pm at TD Station, and host the Val-d'Or Foreurs on 'Sunday Funday' afternoon at 4pm.
