Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton - The Moncton Wildcats announced today a new four-year partnership with Planet Fitness, an operator of fitness centers, and one of the largest fitness club franchises by number of members and locations. Planet Fitness markets itself as a "Judgment Free Zone" that caters to novice and casual gym users and is reported to be the fastest growing fitness center franchise.
"Planet Fitness is an exciting new partner for the Wildcats as their brand continues to grow locally and nationally" said Director of Business Operations, Josh Harris. "We believe strongly that the synergies and the innovative nature of this partnership will create positive and exciting engagement within the community."
The integrated partnership features such things as minor hockey and community activations, as well as the opportunity to launch co-promotional marketing campaigns utilizing the Wildcats brand and likenesses.
"It is a natural fit for Planet Fitness to partner up with the Moncton Wildcats, a team with such a great history and important ties in the Moncton community," said Jessica Sisk Roehle, President, International, Taymax Group. "Both of our organizations recognize the importance of staying fit, particularly in these challenging times, and we look forward to working with the Wildcats to show ways to make fitness even more accessible, inclusive, and entertaining."
