Wildcats Present "United Way Night" for Home Game Against Tennessee Valley

ALBANY, GA- As the South Georgia Wildcats take to the field Saturday night for a key South Division matchup against the defending af2 champion Tennessee Valley Vipers, the United Way will be partnering with the team to bring to its fans another night of intense action and engaging entertainment. With the Cats for Kids program being an incredible success, it is a fitting tribute for the Wildcats to be able to honor the United Way for all of their great work.

"Over the past two years the partnership between the South Georgia Wildcats and the United Way has been a tremendous experience," said Vice President Will Carter. "The Cats for Kids program is having a positive effect on our community and most importantly on the future of our kids."

"United Way Night" festivities will include Roxanne Embler performing the National Anthem. Captain Doug McClure, Executive Director of the Salvation Army, will give the invocation. Michael Revell, Chairman of the Young Leaders Society, will perform the Coin Toss. Greg Wright, Vice-Chairman of the Young Leaders Society, will present the Game Ball.

"United Way improves people's lives by "advancing the common good" focusing on the impact we make in our communities through partnership and collaborations," said Dwayne Myles, President & CEO, United Way of Southwest Georgia. "We are glad to once again be working the South Georgia Wildcats."
