Wildcats Forming 2007 Roster

South Georgia Wildcats News Release
ALBANY , GA- The Wildcats announced today that they have been assigned several players by the af2 league office to their 2007 roster. Former Wildcats Alvin Ray Jackson, James Harris, and Blake Saunders will be returning, along with stand-out players from around the league such as Greg Golden (Memphis), Daryon Brutley (NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, AFL's Carolina Cobras, and af2's Macon Knights), and Andre Slappey (5 year af2 veteran).
"I feel strongly about the team that we're putting together," says Head Coach Derek Stingley. "We are going to turn this year around. We have a lot of players from all over: af2, AFL, and free agency. We have great players that are really going to help this team win a bunch of games this year."
All players will report to training camp with the Wildcats on March 10th, and a final roster will be determined by March 26 th.
The Wildcats play their first game of 2007 on Saturday, March 31st against the Arkansas Twisters at the Albany Civic Center on Cooper Tire Field. For ticket information, call the Wildcats at 229 435 0205.
