
Thunder Announce Radio Broadcast Deal

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Thunder announced today that Cumulus Broadcasting will be the Official Radio Broadcast Partner for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 seasons.
Cumulus Broadcasting of Youngstown, Ohio and the Mahoning Valley Thunder have joined forces to bring Arena Football to the people of the Valley. All Thunder games will be broadcast on ESPN 1240 AM (WBBW) and simulcast on 96.7 FM The River; broadcasts of all 16 regular season games and any playoff games will also include a 15-minute pregame and 10-minute postgame show. The partnership between the two organizations also includes a weekly Thunder talk show on ESPN 1240 (exact day and time to be determined) and a myriad of co-promotions, which are in the works to help the Thunder Organization become a huge success.
"This partnership is an integral part in the success of our organization," said Thunder General Manager Adam Tokash. "Cumulus Broadcasting is a great company, with an equally talented staff and we look forward to working with them not only in our 2007 inaugural season, but for years to come."
The Mahoning Valley Thunder Arena Football Team's Inaugural Season kicks off Saturday, March 31, 2007 against the Fever from Tri-Cities, Washington on Cortland Banks Field at the Chevrolet Centre.
