Wildcats Announce Hugo Bernier as General Manager, Business Operations

The Moncton Wildcats today announced Hugo Bernier as their new General Manager of Business Operations, effective April 3, 2023.
Originally from Sherbrooke, Quebec, Bernier is currently Vice President, Corporate Partnerships at Lions de Trois-Rivières, the Montréal Canadiens ECHL affiliated team. He's been with the organization since 2020.
"I was presented a unique opportunity in Trois-Rivières to launch a professional hockey team and contribute significantly to the development of every department in the organization," said Bernier. "To join an amazing sport organization like the Moncton Wildcats and to help continue building on the team's success truly feels like a privilege. The Wildcats' commitment to their fans, sponsors, and their community, is second to none. I am looking forward to working with the team members and a passionate team president, like Mr. Irving."
Prior to working with the Lions de Trois-Rivières, Bernier was Director, Partnerships for four years with Effix, the partnership agency linked to CH Group. There he represented the Montréal Canadiens and Laval Rocket, and evenko's major festivals like Osheaga, ÎLE SONIQ, and Lasso. Bernier has a Master of Business Administration from Université de Sherbrooke.
