Huntsville Havoc News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc hosted their inaugural Wiener Dog Races this past Saturday and the races turned out to be a great success for fans in attendance, participant dogs and their owners, and for the Ryan Newman Foundation.
A total of $5,000 was raised through a portion of ticket sales proceeds and a special post-game #39 Newman jersey auction.
The Huntsville Havoc will continue to encourage all member teams of the SPHL, and their fans, to get involved with the Ryan Newman Foundation.
Grants are available for local organizations by filling out a grant request form on the Ryan New Foundation website at http://www.ryannewmanfoundation.org/foundation/animalwelfare.
