Whitecaps' New "Fat Tuesdays" Ticket/Food Combo Offers All-You-Can-Eat Meal for Tuesday Games

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!" or "Let The Good Times Roll!" The West Michigan Whitecaps are celebrating a special new ticket-and-meal combination that is being offered to fans during Tuesday home games this season. The combo is dubbed "Fat Tuesdays" and is designed to provide yet another value to families and fans.
The "Fat Tuesdays" special includes a reserved seat ticket ($9.50 value) and an all-you-can-eat special including hot dogs, fries, chips and cheese and Pepsi products. The combo price is just $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids 12 and under.
The combo is only available during Tuesday games at Fifth Third Ballpark (excluding June 1). Game dates are: April 13, April 27, May 18, June 15, July 6, August 3 and August 31. Fat Tuesday packages must be purchased in person at the box office or by phone to the Whitecaps at (616) 784-4131. Internet orders will not be accepted for this special promotion. The Fat Tuesday package may not be used in conjunction with any other offers and may not be upgraded from previous tickets sold.
Whitecaps Director of Marketing and Media Relations Mickey Graham said the Fat Tuesdays promotion offers a great value to fans, which is something the Whitecaps have been focusing on in this down economy.
"We strive to provide affordable family entertainment, and in this economy, affordability is key," Graham said. "By offering this great special on Tuesdays, we hope that families will choose to come out to Fifth Third Ballpark and enjoy dinner and a night of baseball for a great price. We always try to provide the best value that we can to our fans."
The Whitecaps already offer ticket discounts for seniors 50 and over on Tuesdays, beverage discounts on Thrifty Thursdays, free kids meals on Sundays, and many other ticket specials in addition to quality family entertainment. The Whitecaps open the season on the road this Thursday, April 8, at the Lake County Captains. The 2010 Whitecaps home baseball season begins on Sunday, April 11 against the defending Midwest League Champion Fort Wayne Tincaps at 2 p.m. Season, group tickets and individual tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.whitecapsbaseball.com, by calling the Whitecaps front office at 616-784-4131, or in person at the Whitecaps box office (open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays (as well as during games).
