Bounce Back
The Quakes are headed to the Bronx following their first loss of the season, a 2-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City. The loss came after the Quakes had won both of their opening two games for only the second time in Earthquakes history.
History in the Making

That appearance tied him for 10th all-time in games played for San Jose, as well as making him eighth all-time in games started (139) and ninth all-time in minutes played (12,165) for the club.
Road Record in Sight
If Quakes captain Chris Wondolowski scores in the Concrete Jungle on Saturday, he will equal Landon Donovan's MLS record for most goals scored on the road (63).
New Quakes Making An Impact In Week 3 against Sporting KC, new signings Florian Jungwirth and Danny Hoesen combined for their first MLS goal and assist, respectively. This comes after a Week 2 match where fellow new signings Nick Lima and Jahmir Hyka also recorded their first goal and assist, respectively, for the Quakes.
