SPEND FOURTH OF JULY WITH THE FISHER CATS, THE FUTURE SOX AND FIRWORKS!!! Are you looking for something to do for Fourth of July weekend? Well, look no further.
You can catch two outstanding Fourth of July Fireworks Shows courtesy of Atlas Fireworks this weekend at Merchantsauto.com Stadium.
Secondly, some of the nation's best collegiate players will take the field on Sunday, July 5, with a showdown between Team USA and the NECBL All-Stars at 2:45pm. Following that game is the regularly scheduled 6:35 pm Fisher Cats-Sea Dogs game, and you can be part of the entire event with one ticket!
Thirdly, you can take part in one of the most exciting promotions this season with the Independence Day Hot Dog Eating Contest on Saturday, July 4.

FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS, FUTURE RED SOX, TEAM USA, NH PRIMARIES COMING THIS WEEKEND
Celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks and the future Red Sox at the ballpark. Your Fisher Cats, the future Blue Jays, will host the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, from Saturday, July 4 to Monday, July 6 at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. The series features two Atlas FIREWORKS Shows, and is capped off with a special 12:05pm Camp Day featuring a Safari-theme for the day game.
Your New Hampshire Primaries will make their return to action on Saturday, July 4, against the Sea Dogs at 7:05pm. Also before the game be part of the Independence Day Hot Dog Eating Contest, and post game make sure and catch a Fourth of July Fireworks Show courtesy of Atlas FIREWORKS.
On Sunday, July 5, you can catch two great games for the price of one! Don't miss the opportunity to check out the Major League stars of tomorrow - TWICE. The Team USA collegiate team will take on the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Stars (NECBL) at 2:45pm, and the Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs game will start at 6:35pm. The series comes to an end on Monday with a special Camp Day with a new Safari twist to it. The game features the Wildlife Encounters Zoo and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, and the performers from Alegria Cirque du Soleil will be on-hand to visit with the crowd. Game time is 12:05pm. . Make sure to catch the Alegria Cirque du Soleil July 8-12 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

"CITIZENS BANK KIDS RUN THE SHOW" RETURNS THURSDAY, AUGUST 27 Due the incredible popularity of the first ever Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show Night on June 6, the Fisher Cats have announced a second installment of Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show for Thursday, August 27.
Children ages 6-to-16 can sign up for the Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show Night by clicking HERE. The registration is only available online and closes on Monday, July 31 at 11:59pm. Children who registered for the June 6 event will need to re-register for the August 27 game in order to be considered for participation.
Your child can be a General Manager, a Radio Announcer or Ticket Taker for the day, among many other roles!

The votes have been tallied and the rosters are now set for the 2009 Eastern League All-Star Game. 1B/DH Brian Dopirak, C Brian Jeroloman and RHP Rey Gonzalez have been chosen to represent your Fisher Cats in Trenton, NJ, on Wednesday, July 15, at Waterfront Park.
Dopirak, 25, leads the league in home runs (18), RBI (58) and extra-base hits (43); he ranks second in hits (92) and doubles (24); his .589 slugging percentage (3rd) and .315 batting average (8th) also rank in the EL's top 10. In addition, Dopirak leads the Fisher Cats in games (77), at-bats (292), runs (38) and OPS. (.966).
Gonzalez, 23, has posted a 3-5 record in 14 starts with a 3.18 ERA, which ranks best among all Fisher Cats' starters. The right-hander also sports a club-leading 1.16 WHIP and leads the team in quality starts (9).
Jeroloman earned an Eastern League All-Star nod for the second consecutive year. The 24-year-old has thrown out a Northern Division-leading 23 runners attempting to steal with a stellar .397 caught-stealing success rate (23 for 58). He is batting .251 with four homers and 16 RBI.
