Windsor Spitfires News Release
Colin MacDonald's first goal of the season with 2:25 to play spoiled a solid effort from the home side on Thursday night, as Plymouth dumped Windsor, 4-3, in front of 5,656 at the WFCU Centre.
Jordan Maletta, Nick Ebert and Jeff Braithwaite each had their fourth goals of the season, as the Spitfires
(24-27-3-2) fired 41 shots at Matt Mahalak.
Tied at 2-2 after 40 minutes, the Spits got into penalty trouble. And Jamie Devane made them pay, scoring his 19th of the season during a 5-on-3 advantage at 7:24 of the third period.
But Braithwaite replied just 2:13 later on Windsor's 7th PP of the night, tying the game at 3-3.
MacDonald's winner was an unassisted floater from the point that beat John Cullen (20 saves) over the shoulder.
We're right back at it Friday night in London. Mike Miller is on the air at 7:00 with the pre-game show on AM800 Radio.
