
Otters Lose in Kingston, 9-3

Kingston, ON - Cody Alcock had a career night for the Kingston Frontenacs with a hat trick as the Erie Otters lost Friday night, 9-3.
The Otters went off to a flying start with a power play goal 1:40 into the game. Anthony Cortellessa knocked in a rebound for his third goal of the season to put the Otters on the board.
Jake Evans doubled the Otters lead at the 4:30 mark as he took a great pass from Stephen Harper and deposited a backhander under the left pad of Jacob Riley for his fifth goal of the season.
Spencer Green scored the lone goal for the Frontenacs in the first period, as Ramis Sadikov made 21 saves in the first 20 minutes.
The second period was a largely different story, as the Frontenacs scored four times to take a 5-2 lead into the third period.
The Frontenacs scored four more goals in the third period, split between Evans' second goal of the game on the power play. It was Evans' second career two-goal game.
The Otters played the game one man short, as Dane Fox and Adam Pelech each sat out with the flu.
