WFCU Centre Hosts NBL Finals Rematch Tonight

(WINDSOR, ON) One of the NBL's most heated rivalries takes centre stage tonight as the Windsor Express host the Island Storm at the WFCU Centre at 7:00pm.
The Express (1-1) will face the team they defeated in a seven game slugfest, the Storm (1-2), to win their first National Basketball League of Canada Championship last season.
The two teams could not be more even throughout their history.
In the regular season, Windsor and the Island are 3-3, splitting both games last season.
Each of their playoff series have gone the distance; the Storm eliminated Windsor in Game 5 of their semifinal series in the 2012-2013 season, before the Express bumped out the Island in Game 7 of last year's final.
Including regular season and playoffs, Windsor is 9-9 all-time against the Storm.
Adding to the drama, Windsor will honour our military veterans with a pregame ceremony before tonight's game.
All members of the military and cadets will be able to purchase tickets for only $10 by showing their military ID or coming to the game in uniform.
