Through out the 2009 baseball season the Beloit Snappers, West Bend Mutual and the Stateline United Way have teamed up to raise money for numerous area programs.

During the '09 season anytime a Snapper player hit a home run at Pohlman Field, $25 was donated by West Bend Mutual and the Beloit Snappers to the Stateline United Way. By the end of the season West Bend rounded the donation up to an even $1,000 for the power effort put forth by the Snappers players

The area's that will be supported by the efforts of all three organizations are:

Big Brother Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson Counties

Girl Scours of Badger Council

Glacier's Edge boy Scout Council

Lutheran Social Services

Merrill Community Center, Inc.

Salvation Army

Stateline Boys and Girls Club

Stateline Family YMCA

Stateline Literacy Council

And many more!

"West Bend is a great partner of Snappers Baseball, and we appreciate their generosity in working with us to help benefit the United Way," said Beloit General Manager Jeff Vohs. "This is a perfect example of how the Beloit Snappers and their partners benefit the Stateline Area off the baseball field. We look forward to continuing the partnership in 2010 and beyond."
