
West Bend Mutual and the Snappers Team Up For the United Way

Through out the 2009 baseball season the Beloit Snappers, West Bend Mutual and the Stateline United Way have teamed up to raise money for numerous area programs.
During the '09 season anytime a Snapper player hit a home run at Pohlman Field, $25 was donated by West Bend Mutual and the Beloit Snappers to the Stateline United Way. By the end of the season West Bend rounded the donation up to an even $1,000 for the power effort put forth by the Snappers players
The area's that will be supported by the efforts of all three organizations are:
Big Brother Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson Counties
Girl Scours of Badger Council
Glacier's Edge boy Scout Council
Lutheran Social Services
Merrill Community Center, Inc.
Salvation Army
Stateline Boys and Girls Club
Stateline Family YMCA
Stateline Literacy Council
And many more!
"West Bend is a great partner of Snappers Baseball, and we appreciate their generosity in working with us to help benefit the United Way," said Beloit General Manager Jeff Vohs. "This is a perfect example of how the Beloit Snappers and their partners benefit the Stateline Area off the baseball field. We look forward to continuing the partnership in 2010 and beyond."
