
Dragons Announce 2010 Schedule

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons will open their 11th season in the Midwest League on Thursday, April 8, 2010 when they host the Lansing Lugnuts at Fifth Third Field. The Dragons announced their 2010 schedule today.
For the second straight year, the Dragons will open the season at home. The Dragons 2010 home schedule will range from April 8-September 6 and include 70 home dates and 70 road dates. Game times will be announced at a later date.
Dragons season ticket holders may check specific dates in each season ticket plan at www.daytondragons.com.
The Midwest League will expand from 14 to 16 teams in 2010 when the Lake County Captains and Bowling Green Hot Rods join the circuit.
Both teams will join the Dragons in the Eastern Division, increasing the number of teams in the division from six to eight. Other Eastern Division teams are the Lugnuts, Fort Wayne TinCaps, Great Lakes Loons, South Bend Silver Hawks, and West Michigan Whitecaps.
With the addition of Lake County and Bowling Green, the Midwest League now includes teams from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
