Weigandt Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF defender Marcelo Weigandt has been named to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday for week 11 of the 2025 regular season. The right back earns TOTM following his stellar display in the team's resounding 4-1 win over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday evening.

Weigandt features in the starting XI and tallies his second TOTM selection this campaign after playing a key role in Inter Miami's home win over NYRB, tallying a goal and an assist, while also completing 89 percent of his passes. The Argentine defender provided a secondary assist in the opening goal of the match, before extending the lead to 2-0 in the 30th with his first goal for the Club.

With his contributions in the victory against the Red Bulls, Weigandt now has recorded a goal and two assists this 2025 MLS regular season.
