Baltimore Blast: Won previous game against Rochester Lancers 11-0. Baltimore enters having clinched a playoff spot and the number one seed in the East (14-2).

Chicago Mustangs: Lost previous game vs. Syracuse Silver Knight (2/15) 7-3. Chicago enters in third place in the Central (10-7).

Harrisburg Heat: Lost previous game vs. Rochester Lancers (2/14) 28-10. Harrisburg enters in last place in the East (1-15).

Firing on all cylinders:

The offense has been well rounded scoring 122 goals in 16 games this season. Tony Donatelli leads the team with 25 points. Lucas Roque leads the team with 16 goals scored while Pat Healey leads the team in assists with 14. Baltimore is far from being one sided as the defense has played just as well as the offense. Pat Healey leads the league with 47 blocks and Baltimore leads the league in average goals allowed per game (3.1). In net for the Blast, William Vanzela has recorded 3 shutouts this season with his most recent last weekend against Rochester. He leads the MASL in GAA (3.02) and save percentage (.810).

Team Depth:

In addition to the returning players, the Blast roster also includes eight newcomers. Offensively the Blast really show their team depth with 18 players who have recorded 2 or more points this season. During the first 16 games of the season the Blast have been able to average 7.6 goals per game.

The Competition- Chicago Mustangs:

The Chicago Mustangs enter at 10-7 after a 7-3 loss against the Syracuse Silver Knights last weekend. The Mustang offense is led by Miguel Vaca and Efrain Wilo Martinez who both have recorded 24 points each so far this season. Vaca leads the team in goal with 15 while Martinez has recorded 13 assists. Defensively, Aurinei Chico Parisotto leads Chicago with 22 blocks while goalkeeper Jesus Flores enters having played in 16 games with a 6.14 GAA and .709 save percentage. Chicago will play in Syracuse on Thursday to rematch the Silver Knights before heading to Baltimore Friday night. The Mustangs are coached by Armando Gamboa.

The Competition- Harrisburg Heat:

The Heat enter at 1-15 after a 28-10 loss to the Rochester Lancers. Kenneth Fultz leads the Heat with 27 points from 15 goals and 12 assists. Tyler Witmer has also tallied 15 goals this season for 19 points. Timothy Mehl and Justin Johnson have both seen time in net for the Heat this season. Harrisburg will play against the Lancers again on Thursday before making the trip to Baltimore on Saturday. The Heat are coached by Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame member Tarik Walker.
