Coach Gibson's Corner

On playing the first road game of the season and first three-game weekend of the season:

"There is a home-ice advantage because the home team doesn't have to deal with travel or hotel stays, but these kids have grown up doing it and they are accustomed to it. I definitely think there is a home-ice advantage but we are going to change the way we play."

"Our schedule is full of the three-game weekends. I think over half of our games are involved with a long weekend. It just shows you how important conditioning is going to be over the length of the season."
