The Huntsville Havoc took two-of-three games over the weekend with wins over the Pee Dee Cyclones and Richmond Renegades and a loss to the Knoxville Ice Bears

Thursday, December 28 - Pee Dee 5, Huntsville 7

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Havoc scored four goals in the third period rallying from a 5-3 deficit to defeat the Pee Dee Cyclones 7-5 Thursday night in front of 4,244 fans.

The Cyclones scored three goals by Edan Welch, Drew Mareiros and Geoff Rollins in the span of :36 seconds in the first period to take a 3-0 lead. Martin Kubaliak responded two minutes later to cut the lead to 3-1.

Chris Crombie pushed the lead back to three with a goal just 3:16 into the second period. The Havoc would slice the lead to 4-3 on the first career goal for Justin Schmit with 9:51 left and a goal by Dan Buccella with 5:57 left.

Pee Dee again pushed the lead to two goals when Welch scored on the powerplay with :44 left in the second.

Tim Hockley cut the lead to 5-4 when he scored his first career goal with 16:36 left. Tristan Senior then scored back-to-back goals with 11:21 and 2:07 left. Kelly Miller scored an empty net with :20 left.

Matt Carmichael struggled to start the game but made several key saves down the stretch to seal the win.

Friday, December 29 -Huntsville 2, Knoxville 11

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Kevin Swider scored three goals and recorded two assists as the Huntsville Havoc fell 11-2 to the Knoxville Ice Bears Friday night.

The Havoc took a 2-0 lead on powerplay goals by Mike O'Sullivan and Trevor Karasiewicz before Knoxville scored 11 unanswered goals, including seven the final period.

Nick Niedert made the start and stopped 50 of the 61 the Ice Bears attempted. Knoxville finished 5-11 on the powerplay while Huntsville was 2-7. There were 128 penalty minutes including eight majors for fighting.

Saturday, December 23 - Jacksonville 2, Huntsville 3

RICHMOND, Va.- The Huntsville Havoc rebounded from Friday's nights loss to beat the Richmond Renegades 7-4 Saturday night on the road.

Tristan Senior, Bill Monkman, Jonathan Lounsbury and Jason deGuehery all had a goal and an assist in the win. James Patterson, Tim Hockley and Dan Buccella also had goals for the Havoc.

Trevor Karasiewicz, Mike O'Sullivan and Luke Phillips all had two assists each while Kelly Miller and Craig Bushey had one each.

Matt Carmichael got win in goal stopping 39 shots. The Havoc converted on 3-11 powerplays and held Richmond to 1-7.

Saturday, January 6 vs Columbus Cottonmouths- The first 1,000 fans 15 and older will receive a Havoc mesh jersey courtesy of TOC Sports and WAFF.

Saturday, January 6 vs Columbus Cottonmouths- The termites from the Huntsville Amateur Hockey Association will skate during the first period intermission.
