Huntsville 6, Asheville 5 SO
ASHEVILLE, NC - Steve Howard and James Patterson both scored in the shootout and Adam MacLean held Asheville scoreless on two attempts to give the Huntsville Havoc a 6-5 win over the Aces in front of 1,351 fans on Thursday night.Tim Plett scored two goals for Huntsville (6-5) while Patterson, Degurse and Dan Buccella all had one each. Adam MacLean got his first win of the season in his third start. All three games have gone to overtime.
Asheville 2, Huntsville 5
HUNTSVILLE, AL - Brad McDonald had a goal and an assist as the Huntsville Havoc beat the Asheville Aces 5-2 in front of 2,822 fans Friday night. The Havoc beat the Aces 6-5 in shootout on Thursday night in Asheville. James Patterson scored two goals, one an empty net goal and the other the game winner. Aaron Lewis and Tim Plett also scored goals. Mike Utzig had two assists while Jeff Dams, Doug Merrell and Dan Buccella all had one each. Matt Carmicaheal got the win stopping 34 of 36 shots.
Huntsville 2, Knoxville 3
KNOXVILLE, TN - The Havoc fell to Knoxville 3-2 on the road. Brad McDonald and Jeff Dams scored goals for Huntsville while Dams and Dan Buccella both had assists. Matt Carmichael took the loss but stopped 37 of 40 shots.
